Mage: The Gun Quarter
The Bone Room
The Bone Room exists as its own discrete shard realm in the Middle Umbra. The realm is the domain of the Grey Woman and is notable for being a neutral location for beings of all origins and factions to meet. The cost of entry is a flat rate of one Tass per person. The room itself varies in appearance from person to person. While a Verbena may interact with the room as if it were a large clearing in the woods where plants and trees have grown to accommodate places to sit and eat, a Technocrat may see the room as high-tech Cantina with automatic food and beverage dispensers. It exists as an example of how all paradigms may coexist, though at the cost of the will workers influencing reality, instead having the realm exude their own realities onto themselves. Those who attempt to break the neutrality of the Bone Room find themselves violently ejected into a random location in the Umbra before being able to land a blow.
The room itself actually varies in size to accommodate the amount of people who are currently in it. Once per year, during the perihelion, the bone room hosts an auction. Anything may be offered in the auction from rare alchemical ingredients, to strange alloys, to captured spirits including human souls, or even information. Payment ranges from favours, to magical energy, and even mundane human currencies or properties.
